Colin & the Cougars

Colin & the Cougars are a Pop/ Rock quartet from the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. Bringing familiar sounds of Brit Rock, Americana, Blues, Soul and Rock n’ Roll, C&C use a wide pallet of colors to craft songs that are just as fun to listen to as they are to play. Colin Lazorka (Vocals/ Guitars/ Engineering), started the Cougars moniker in early 2017 as a recording project to explore new methods of writing and recording songs. The solo effort quickly turned to a duo, adding Kevin Jaskolski (Drums/Percussion/Vocals) to help with live drum tracking and arrangement ideas for the bands debut self-titled EP (2018). Four string groovy low-end provided by Andrew Vance (Bass/ Vocals), along with the smooth harmonies and jazzy clean guitar of Matt Carlson (Guitars/ Vocals), give Colin & the Cougars their delightful retro vibe, along with a plethora of modern twists.
