Stretch featuring Joely & Tom

Stretch started out as an Acoustic Pop-Rock duo that plays cover songs from the 50's to stuff that came out yesterday. Their set list is based primarily on audience requests from their extensive song list. At any given show you are guaranteed to hear a song you like because the audience gets to pick what gets played.

Stretch was formed in early 2009 by Joely (Vocals and Percussion) and Tom (Vocals and Acoustic Guitar). The early shows consisted of them just playing the songs that they knew at that time. As their song catalog grew the shows morphed into what they are today - all request based shows. Occasionally Stretch will include guest performers including musicians that play guitar, mandolin, bass guitar and even trumpet. They will also do live karaoke and have people come up from the audience and sing with them.

In 2016, they added Anneliese and her djembe and vocal talents to the the band. This brought Stretch to a new level and energy. Then in 2017, Connor joined the band playing electric guitar, adding guitar solos to the mix, allowing Stretch to expand their song repertoire even further. Sadly, both Anneliese and Connor both moved away in the Summer of 2018. Our current lineup includes Paul on drums, Austin on sax and Marisa on backing vocals. Stretch is coming full force to a venue near you.

Stretch plays in the Capital District region of New York state, mostly in Clifton Park, Cohoes and Albany. When you go to a Stretch show you are going to have a good time. Come hang out with Stretch!
