Disco Assault

Straight from Detroit's doormat comes Windsor based Disco Assault. Following the fine tradition of bands like the Dry Heaves and the Flesh Columns (and in Detroit Negative Approach!); they play some classic sounding no-frills hardcore/punk rock influenced by bands of the "80's Reagan era". To date the band has put out an 7" EP on Schizophrenic Records (Hamilton, Ontario), songs on compilations, cranked out a few demos, and compiled a CD discography of everything done from 2005 - 2010. 2012 brought new material that appeared on a extremely limited lathe cut 7" entitled "Religious Kontrol" with plans to re-release in larger, less limited quantities. They have played gigs throughout southern Ontario, Quebec, Michigan, and the Midwest over the years with countless national and local acts. New material and more shows (both local and beyond) are in the works.
