Yö

Yö ("Night") is (1) a Finnish rock band, established in 1981. The only member of the band from the original lineup, that is still with the band is Olli Lindholm. Although usually thought of as a band from Pori, nowadays they're more or less from Tampere. For example the present guitar player Daffy Terävä and the drummer Ari Toikka have both been in the Nuket -band, which was a totally local band from Tampere.

(2) There also existed an American new wave/post-punk band by the name Yo during the 80s, who released three LPs: Good Tidings (1984), Charm World (1985) and Once In A Blue Moon (1986).
