The Twiggenburys Biography

The Twiggenburys were conjoined twins born to three different mothers (and one VERY different father) on the Isle of Lucy, Great Britain. Upon reaching their 14th birthday, Trevor (the eldest Twiggenbury) declared that Great Britain was, in fact, not so great, and announced plans to move to the lesser-known island chain "Even Better Britain." Before the other brothers could protest, they heard the American single "Yummy Yummy Yummy I've Got Love In My Tummy" and decided that, when it came to pop music, a British invasion would be easy.

Upon reaching the East Coast of the U.S., the Twiggenburys made their way to a Best Buy store to purchase a GPS unit, as they had originally landed in California. They worked their way back through the Appalachian mountain range, sharing their cheeky, catchy Brit-pop with the local population, who promptly killed and made soap out of them.

Not to be deterred, the plucky boys gathered their wits (and their respective body parts) and soon arrived in The Bluegrass State, where they were given the key to the city and accidently made honorary members of the University of Kentucky women's field hockey team.

The Twiggenburys then set about creating the musical legacy that would last a lunchtime. You can see them, hear them, touch them and occasionally be sweated on by them at any of their numerous performances in and around Lexington, unless their mum pops round for tea. But as she died in 1963, five years before giving birth to them, it shouldn't be an issue.
