Banjo player Montz Matsumoto Biography
One of Montz' foot is always 'Knee Deep in Bluegrass', and another one is in somewhere else, his voice and banjo can take you to many different places of this planet. Born in a small village in Japan and started to learn Bluegrass banjo from the age of 15. Joined the legendary Japanese folk group 'The Natarshar Seven' in Kyoto, Japan. Joined Peter Rowan's tour in Okinawa, Japan. 2017 Tamworth Bluegrass Champion. Touring regularly with ' The Pigs' and Pete Denahy.
