Mekka Don Biography
In 2012, Mekka Don released a single and video, "Dirty" which landed him the award of "mtvU Best Freshman" and features on mtvU, MTV2, MTV3, VH1.com, mtvU.com, MTV Canada, TheSource.com, Thisis50.com and others. Later in the the year, Mekka Don released a critically acclaimed mixtape, "It's On" on LiveMixtapes.com and another video, "Here We Go" that was picked up by MTV and VH1 as well.
Additionally, Mekka Don has licensed his music to several media outlets including 5 songs to ESPN in the last year.
Once being a practicing attorney in a huge law firm, Mekka Don left his prestigious job to pursue his dream as a recording artist. He has been featured hundreds of publications from XXL to the ABA Journal to the New York Daily News.
