Tart

Tart is the Detroit based project of Zee Bricker and Adam Padden. Bricker has a gift for writing melodies that are beautiful yet haunting, tempting the listener to dive deeper with her. Padden, on the other hand, brings a visceral but calculated style of guitar, laying a foundation for Bricker’s pointed lyrics. With the recent addition of drummer, Donny Blum, Tart’s live show has become even more dynamic and more energetic. The band has been compared to the likes of Siouxsie and the Banshees, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Blondie.
