MG and The Gas City Three Biography
In MG & the Gas City 3’s time together they have left an impact, playing many sold out shows and proving to everyone what Indiana has to offer to the ever rising rockabilly scene.
Since the release of the album “Get in, Shut Up, and Hold On” and following the staggering video for the single “Rock Kept A Rollin',” MG has left many crowds in awe. They have had the honor sharing the stage with many influential artists including:
Rockabilly Hall of Famer Art Adams, Wayne “The Train” Hancock, Elvis Hitler, The Koffin Kats, Hotrod Walt and the Psycho Deville’s, Hillbilly Casino, The Krank Daddies, Hudson Hornet and Mo Foster’s The Next Big Thang. In 2012 MG was honored with a cameo in the SYFY Channel original film “GILA!” where they were also a featured artist for the movie soundtrack.
At the helm is the robust voice of singer Mark Gullion (MG). Formerly of the band GRISSEL, a heavy metal band from Indianapolis. He decided to bring it back to what he knew, hard hitting tunes infused with punk, rockabilly, and country music. Drummer Nate Street provides a toe-tapping heartbeat that is the basis of MG’s unique sound. Joining them on stage is guitarist Jesse Thunder. Last, but not definitely not least, Bassist Chuck Brooks of Muncie, IN playing up-right.
MG & the Gas City 3 released 3 new singles in October of 2017. They are currently working on their third full length studio album and booking for a 2019 tour.
