Kent Hickey

The Hickey-Shanafelt Collaboration is a new band formed by trumpeter Kent Hickey and arranger/composer Alex Shanafelt. The band is comprised of high level student musicians and local professionals, and its mission is to contribute to the growth of the modern big band, perform historically accurate interpretations of standard repertoire, offer live performances of underplayed charts, and provide an outlet for emerging composers.
