Death Plant Biography
Death Plant is a very unique trio residing in Southern Oregon. With a wide array of rock styles mixed into one loud, ska-alternative-pop-metal amalgamation, they have waited until the right moment to explode on the scene and that time is now!
Originally called Pageant of the Transmundane, the acoustic duo of Anthony and Mel started playing music together a couple of years into their relationship. They started with common covers and inevitably Anthony began writing a wide assortment of music. Needing words to bring the first song to life, he turned to Mel the wordsmith. Both have since contributed major music and lyrical parts while creating, but their performance was missing the explosion of drums, thus they went on a drummer search until they found Moreno.
With Moreno rocking the rhythm section, their live performance transformed from acoustic duo to a full electric power trio. With the sweet sound of complex vocal harmonies, running bass lines, big dirty guitars, and wall shaking drums, Death Plant is invading your homes, phones, stereos, and minds!
