Featuring multiple rooms, start of the art production and with some of the biggest headline artists from the past and present set to supply a soundtrack of classics and anthems at one of the most prestigious venues in the UK; the O2 Academy, Birmingham (previously Tony’s old resident venue from the 80’s – ‘The Dome”).With a line up specially curated by the Tidy Boys & the De Vit estate to represent the DJs closest to Tony, along with those that he inspired, and continues to inspire to this day, this is the ultimate club event ever thrown in celebration of Hard House and in memory of Tony De Vit.To compliment the club show we also present the Tony De Vit Memorial Tribute. Taking place before the main event, this memorial will feature a very special commemoration with words, pictures and guest interviews from the people closest to Tony. Presented by the Tidy Boys and friends, this exclusive 90-minute experience will feature emotional renditions of the music closest to Tony’s heart and a insight into the great man himself. This show will also feature an exclusive DJ set from Fergie.Proceeds from every ticket sold for this event will go to the chosen charity of Jayne Parkes-De Vit, (Tony’s Sister), which will be the Sifa Fireside Charity for homeless people of Birmingham.TDV VIP CLUB & PRE-SHOW MEMORIAL PASSLIMITED TO 850 TICKETS:An Exclusive 90 Minute Memorial Tribute at 6:30pm for a lucky few. Anne Savage Biography
Anne Savage is one of the world’s leading ladies in dance music with a career that spans over nearly two decades. She has evolved as a DJ embracing everything from Electronica to Hard Dance playing the best clubs and festivals across the globe. She’s become a best-selling producer with a more accomplished and diverse CV than most DJs could dream of constantly finding new ways to look and sound more vital than ever.
Summer 2009 saw Anne proud to present her label concept “Siren Trax” with the aim to push good music, showcase talented new producers and define her own sound. She played a major role in the rebirth of RIOT! as resident at Matter in London as well as appearing at every major hard dance event in the UK and abroad
Her early DJ career was inspired by her all time heroes Carl Cox and Joey Beltram who were regular guests at her first residency, Angel’s in Burnley, Lancashire circa 1993. It was here that she was discovered and went on to play the legendary ARK events alongside Sasha, Tony De Vit and Laurent Garnier. She built a loyal following, was soon snapped up by an agent and took the rest of the UK and beyond by storm.
In 1996 Anne was the first UK female ever to DJ in Canada and was soon headlining huge events in Toronto and Vancouver to crowds of over 10,000 people, built a huge fanbase and even played for the British High Commission in Ottawa!
More recently Anne has performed at key events in every major city and festivals all over the world. Anne had 12 consecutive year djing in Ibiza having played all the best venues on the island: - Space, Amnesia, Privilege for Manumission, The Zoo for Radio 1, Judgement Sunday and Tidy at Eden and Es Paradis.
Anne’s production includes many best selling hard dance anthems. Being one of the original four original Tidy Girls, the Tidy Girls EP went on to become one of the best selling hard house records of all time. ‘The Pod’ which she produced with Vinylgroover and ‘Hellraiser’ are also all time classics and her many collaborations with the likes of Dark By Design, BK and Lisa Lashes have been licensed to dance compilations worldwide.
Her own numerous mix compilations for Tidy, Euphoria and Ministry of Sound to name a few have sold hundreds of thousands of copies and are a further string to her bow – as well as winning two Hard Dance Awards for Best Album.
DJ Magazine Top 100, the world most recognised DJ Poll saw Anne riding high for 7 consecutive years, she was voted in the Top 10 UK DJs by “The Independent” and in 2008 she hit the top 40 in the first year of the Data Transmission UK Top 40 DJ. In 2013 she was voted in the all-time top 100 DJs.
Her glamorous style and bubbly personality have also helped her to achieve success as a confident and highly-rated presenter - with her role as a tutor teaching a classically trained cellist how to DJ on the Channel4 programme "Faking It" helping the series to receive a prestigious BAFTA Award.
Anne has also presented for the BBC, MTV Europe, MTV Dance, Rapture and Sky One, Anne held her own specialist dance show on Ministry Of Sound Radio for 3 years and was the stand in for Dave Pearce on his massive Radio 1 Sunday night Dance Anthems show with over 2 million listeners.
Not content to sit at the top of the hard dance scene, Anne continues to move upwards and onwards with her Dumb Blonde project, spinning a seamless cross genre set of electro influenced breaks tinged with deep techno, and anything that rocks a party. For those unaware of the flipside to Anne's talents, as well as her numerous tracks & remixes for the likes of The Holloways and The Rakes, she has toured the globe, has supported Kasabian, Pendulum and Bloc Party, played Snowbombing, Glastonbury Festival and Judgement Sunday for the past few years plus some of the most respected underground parties in the UK - all under this moniker.
