Hazzan Aaron Isaac

Born in London, Aaron Isaac has been engrossed in Jewish music since his earliest memories. As a youngster he sang with many prestigious choirs, touring in USA and Israel. During his undergraduate studies, he studied opera at Goldsmiths University under Nan Christie. He has since returned there to embark on a Masters in Music Performance and Related Studies. He has studied nussah variously under Rev. Steven Robins, Rev. Eliot Alderman, Rabbi Geoffrey Shisler and the late Rev. Reuben Turner. He is currently working as a hazzan for the United Synagogue, posted at Hampstead Garden Suburb, St Johns Wood and Woodside Park synagogues. Aaron has acted as guest hazzan in a number of other synagogues and officiates at weddings, bar and bat mitzvot and other ceremonies.
