About this concert
David Flower And Caroline Trengove David Flower And Caroline Trengove are two much loved individual performers and between them have written and released a wealth of original music and played most festivals and venues across the country with many successful overseas tours under their belts also . Chemistry emanates as they stoke their musical fire with David's trademark guitar styles and harmonica hooks and Caroline's moody violin, and flute. They create an all acoustic warm sound for their two impressive voices to shine in harmony. It's a grand sound from this duo and the dynamic between them is brutally honest, cheeky and light hearted to the delight of their audience. David has Four releases to date 'Curious world' an EP with songs from his first original band ‘ The Feel' formed on the Sunshine Coast in the late 90’s where Abc radio picked his emotive song ‘Ode to the rising sea’ for high rotation. His self named solo album ‘David Flower” introduced a highly percussive full band sound attracting solid airplay on JJJ and Abc which also included popular tracks including ‘Cheney’s pie’, Half price soul sale and the popular surf anthem 'Ride my wave’ which was chosen as the theme song for the Sunshine Coast's worldwide tourism campaign in 2010-2012 making David the recognised ‘voice’ of the Sunshine coast. With the combination fully road tested David and Caroline released ‘Tango Rose” in late 2018 showcasing the collaboration and are back touring the album and have 2 exciting videos in the pipeline for songs “older wiser” and the controversial "Headphone Jack”. Her soulful attitude to her violin and voice is warm and emotive making her a much accaimed and sort after accompanist of the likes of Ange Takats, Angus and Julia stone, 'Fiddlers Feast' and recently the Hillbilly Goats and Hat Fitz n Cara.
