Matt Alber always gives a great show at Joe's Pub.
He didn't disappoint this time. He gives his all. Great songs and he is in great voice.

Matt Alber Biography
So...hi. I'm Matt. I write songs and make records in my bedroom and share them on stages and in living rooms (and sometimes middle schools) around the globe. I love my tribe. I sing about lovely men and crushes and brotherhood and getting lost in the woods on purpose and some other things.
I was often chased home from school and beaten up by mean kids. I was terrorized by so-called Christians who told me God wouldn't love me if I was gay. There were other things. I coped in the ways I knew how. They weren't always the best ways. I got sober. Things feel a lot clearer now.
Between tours I hang out with teenagers in public schools and help them see each other as little miracles. I'm constantly amazed by their wisdom and courage. If you'd like to meet some of them click here: www.moreroomtogrow.org
Also, my brother makes amazing music, so check him out here when you get a chance: www.deepdarkblueband.com
Ok cool that's mostly it. Thanks for taking the time to read this far. -Matt
