Carmen & Lizzy Biography
Carmen & Lizzy is an acoustic duo out of Buffalo, NY. C&L was founded by cousins, Carmen O'Keefe and Lizzy Bassler in 2017. The duo grew up creating music together, developing a wide range of talents and passions that have come together to create an unparalleled sound.
November 2017, the duo released their EP, Where Are We Now? produced and recorded by Mike Fridmann of Nonexistant Records (Fredonia, NY). May 2019 brought the release of the duo’s first LP, Climate. This 10-song record expands upon the songwriting and sounds introduced in the duo’s 2017 debut EP and features a number of songs that will likely be familiar to fans of their live performances, as well as plenty of surprises.
The 2020 Global Pandemic brought a change to the duo’s public activity; although, it did allow some extra time for reflection and writing. Carmen & Lizzy are excited to share what they’ve been working on!
