About aPeal Music
Andrew Peal is a trombonist, educator, and composer. He serves as Assistant Professor of Jazz and Music Theory at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and his credentials include a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Miami.
Previously he studied Music Education at Oklahoma State University, earned a Master of Music in Studio Music and Jazz Performance at the University of Miami.
While living in the city of Miami, Peal played and recorded with great ensembles such as the South Florida Jazz Orchestra (The Music of Gary Lindsay: Are We Still Dreaming, and Cheap Thrills: the music of Rick Margitza) and Frost Studio Jazz Band. While a part of these ensembles, Peal performed with renowned artists such as Randy Brecker, Kevin Mahogany, Jon Secada, Arturo Sandoval, John Hart, Brian Lynch, Janis Seigel, Nicole Yarling, and Gregg Field.
Peal maintains an active teaching schedule and is available for bookings across the country. He has consistent engagements in Miami, Dallas, and New Orleans.
