DSCH Quartet

Formed in the year of 2013, the DSCH Quartet first appeared publicly in August, where they played in the chamber concert of UCSI University Institute of Music. The formation has led to a permanent commitment from four young musicians, and has played together since, aiming to encourage young talented musicians of Malaysia into further investing and developing their knowledge and interest towards classical music.

The DSCH Quartet have attended masterclasses with Bulgarian-American violinist Jassen Todorov. They are also active in the classical music scene and affiliated with different artists and musical organisations of Malaysia, based mainly in Kuala Lumpur. The DSCH have recently organised their first public performance and tour to Kota Kinabalu, in collaboration with pianist Timothy Chio, composer C. Yuan Teng, and the Kian Kok String Orchestra.
