G.W. Souther Biography

The soulful sounds of GW Souther are truly mesmerizing. Rich, organic
instrumentation, luscious guitar lines and grooving rhythms. Their style is
bold, daring and impossible to ignore. Inspired by a rambunctious range of
various artists, from The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, all the way to
DNCE and D’angelo, their sound is simply oozing with originality. They are
known for their electrifying live performances and ability to really connect to
their listeners through spellbinding songwriting.
They have recently put out their EP “F.I.S.H. The feel-good floor-filler takes
us through the soothing yet energetic worlds of pop, rock, soul and beyond.
Throughout quarantine they’ve been working on another project. As well as
setting plans to take the world by storm with a plethora of new, exhilarating
shows. Their music touches on a range of relatable subjects. From love to
loss, hear it all in raw vivid detail in the bands ever growing collection of
slick songs. It’s a distinctly “real” and intimate ordeal, as they talk on the
realities of life in a candid and cathartic manner.
The four-piece formed in Orlando back in 2016. They’ve spent the past four
years making their presence known all around Florida. The band have
been relentlessly releasing music and throwing awe-inspiring parties. In
2018 they competed in the AARP Battle of The Bands which they won..
This opened doors for them, giving them the ability to play more original
music. In 2019 they performed all around LA, threw a major party and shot
the music video for their fan-favorite song “Groupie”. “Dr Bad Girl” and
“Groupie” were both songs that came to creation with their replacement
guitarist Drew Williams.
