Following excommunication from a 3 years study of professional Jazz guitar at the Conservatoire de Lausanne, Switzerland, Hervé Girardin sought refuge in Wales, UK. It was here that he liberated himself from his traditionalist education and allowed to create a personal artistic identity; thus Nevsky Perspective was born.
Blending from a fusion of traditional and modernist songwriting, Girardin takes cues from blues, indie pop, krautrock, electronica, folk and noise music, delicately embalmed by his fragile and very distinctive vocal melodies.

Après son excommunication du Conservatoire de Lausanne, Suisse, Hervé Girardin prit la fuite au Pays-de-Galles, UK. C'est là-bas qu'il s'affranchit peu à peu du carcan traditionaliste et découvrit une nouvelle identité artistique; ainsi naquit Nevsky Perspective.
Sous ce projet, Girardin explore un songwriting à la fois traditionaliste et moderniste aux reflets blues, indie pop, krautrock, electronica, folk et noise, délicatement embaumé par ses mélodies vocales, fragiles et uniques.
