About this concert
John Lloyd Young made such an indelible impression as Frankie Valli in the original Broadway production of "Jersey Boys" that Clint Eastwood chose him to star in the movie version as well. It probably helped that the stage role made Young the only American actor ever to receive a Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Theatre World Award as well as a Tony Award for Lead Actor in a Musical. He's since released his own R&B-tinged album, "My Turn", starred in an all-star production of "Les Miserables" at the Hollywood Bowl, appeared in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade and in concert at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center and the White House. Now, Young brings back some of his classic songs and debuts material new to New York City's Feinstein's/54 Below audiences.
