Join us as we revisit some of GCLT’s best musical moments from the past 60 years. GCLT performed their first musical in 1960, and to date have performed a total of 36 musicals! To celebrate, we’ve taken a selection of our favourites from the 700 or so songs presented so far and woven them into a concert celebrating the heart, humous and joyous musicality of musical theatre.

Elizabeth Johnson Music Biography
Australian vocalist, Elizabeth Johnson is a Sydney based musician who is best known for her Musical Theatre performances. From a young age, she has had a profound experience and talent in a versatile range of musical roles. Having studied Piano from the young age of three and voice from the age of eleven, Elizabeth developed a passion for performance and teaching at an early age, completing her AMEB Certificate of Completion in Classical Piano along side her singing training.
Elizabeth's professional career as a young performer is extensive. She has been involved in Award winning performances for various International Competitions, Carols by Candlelight, Channel 7's Sunrise, with the Vienna Boys Choir and also international tours.
Having studied under the likes of Ludmilla Beliavskaia (Piano) and Sarah Belkner and Clare Heuston (Voice) after being accepted into then, Wesley Institute (2010) to study a Bachelor of Music, Elizabeth had gone on to tour overseas in over 13 countries in venues such as the prestigious Golden Hall in Vienna.
As well as performing as a soloist, you will often find Elizabeth performing and collaborating with many of Sydney's Musical Societies.
Musical theatre credits include: Oliver!, Kiss Me Kate, TOMMY by the Who, and Merrily We Roll Along.
Her experience and interests covers across the Classical, Pop, Jazz and Musical Theatre genres.
