From the Great Plains of North and South Dakota, Recording Group Stones Of Red has rapidly gaining attention for their original music. Stones Of Red songs are being described with words such as “Powerful, Soulful Blues with a rock feel” Fans describe the music as a mix of Lenny Kravitz and Big Head Todd & The Monsters and soulful blend of Delbert McClinton, which Stones of Red finds humbling as they have been their influences.
Since regrouping the band in 2013, Stones of Red has progressed at an astonishingly quick rate to emerge on the music scene as a budding young high energy group coupled with the groups hauntingly soulful vocals and musicianship, “the rhythm section and harmonizing vocals of this trio is amazing” Stated Dave Swenson Makoche Studios. Stones of Red is backed by seasoned musicians, playing original music and a variety of cover music during their live shows paying tribute to some of their greatest influences. From Eric Clapton to Hendrix, Rolling Stones, plus original music, you never know what song will be next!
With the release of debut self-released album “Arianna Rain”, Stones of Red proved they have much to share and they are here to stay. Backed by original members Lawrence (Larz) Archambault (Drums) Brothers Monte Briggs (Vocals/Bass) Robert Briggs (Lead Vocals/Guitar), the group showcases their ability to meld various genres and create vintage sounds with a whole lot of soul while keeping with the traditional power trio format. the album was released and immediately gained traction within the Blues and Blues-Rock communities. The Track “Arianna Rain” to this day plays on major radio stations across America.
Stones of Red looks to expand their audience to capture and entertain those who appreciate guitar driven, Soulful music and SOR also enjoys the idea of taking their fans along for the ride as they progress in the music industry.
