AWEK ce sont 4 musiciens de talent, 4 personnalités : Bernard Sellam - guitare et chant, Stéphane Bertolino - harmonica, Joel Ferron - basse et Olivier Trebel - batterie. Elu meilleur groupe de Blues français en 2004 et 2005, meilleur album pour "Just Pick Up The Pieces" par les Trophées France Blues, Prix Cognac Blues Passions 2008, finaliste de l'International Blues Challenge 2008 à Memphis, plusieurs fois n° 1 des Radios Blues et au Power Blues de Xroads, AWEK, aprés 16 années, 7 albums et bien plus d'un millier de concerts, s'impose aujourd'hui comme une des meilleures formations Européennes. AWEK a participé à la plupart des grands festivals de Blues et de Jazz en France, en Europe, en Inde mais aussi au Québec (Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, Festival de Tremblant...) et même aux USA (Playing with Fire à Omaha, le mythique club Antone's à Austin, l'Orphéum Theater de Memphis... ), en assurant la première partie d'artistes tel que BB King, The Blues Brothers, Sugar Ray Norcia, The Yardbirds, John Mayall et bien d'autres, ou encore en tête d'affiche. Réalisé comme le précédent à Austin Texas, le septième et nouvel album " It's Rollin" reflète bien l'esprit du groupe actuellement, mis en valeur par la rencontre de 3 musiciens prestigieux, Fred Kaplan au piano, Mark "Kaz" Kazanof au saxophone et Derek O'Brien à la guitare.
