Powerhouse singer and guitarist ANTHONY FEDOROV (American Idol-finalist) & singer-songwriter SHELLEY SEGAL perform an evening of audience favourites from contemporary jazz to classic & concert rock, as well as original songs written and recorded by the duo. Both artists will be “In residence” on 2nd Saturdays at Martinis Above Fourth Table + Stage in San Diego, CA. Mr. Fedorov recently celebrated the release of his debut album “Calling On You” and Ms. Segal released her new song “Somebody Like You” which celebrates universal love and tolerance this past Dec 2017. The small, intimate venue was perfect for Shelley's crisp vocals and precise lyrics. I drove 2 hours each way to attend this concert (which is a long way for a Brit), and will do so whenever I get the chance. Shelley claimed to be a little rusty, but gave a precise and emotional performance. She also gave a lot of background and was kind enough to answer questions. Highly recommended.

Rootsy Singer songwriter Shelley Segal is a seasoned tour warrior, honing her live show at listening rooms and festivals across Aus, UK and North America over the last 8 years. Shelley grew up in Melbourne Australia in a religious community. As a young adult she questioned her Jewish tradition with it’s strict rules and rituals which separated men and women. Through her music, Shelley has become a staunch human rights advocate which grew out of her anger with those strict rules and regulations that heavily impact women and those who want to live on their own terms
Shelley's songs relate to her journey, discussing issues of religious freedom, tribalism, & feminism over mercurial vocals; spirited & soaring one moment & the next, bottomless; growling out lyrics that poke & prod & never leave
