Reese Galido Biography
Reese Galido grew up on the music played in her family car during road trips: The Platters, Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington, Sarah Vaughn, Filipino love songs... and Elvis.
She cut her teeth singing jazz standards in front of pianos from living rooms to night clubs and inherited her first guitar from her late brother at the age of 17. The songs she wrote at first were to help her understand the world around her again, and then they became vehicles for stories of great love and the stuff that fills the gaps in a broken heart.
