Neal Schon Biography
Founding member and guitarist for Journey, Neal Schon was born February 27, 1954 at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma a child prodigy, he joined Santana at age 17, making his debut on 1971's III LP. In 1973 Schon co-founded Journey with fellow Santana alum Gregg Rolie; although the group's early records favored a largely instrumental, progressive rock-influenced approach.
Journey’s worldwide sales total over 100 million records, making them one of the world’s best-selling bands of all time, With a very broad selection of great material spanning from 1973 to now. "Don’t Stop Believin'", "Lights", "Stone in Love", "Look into the Future", "Of a Lifetime", "Wheel in the Sky", "Only the Young", "Escape", Mother Father", and "Still the Ride".
