Prospective Biography

A place where catchiness and heaviness live in harmony. Italian Djent superheroes Prospective’s sophomore album 'Unreal' is a new chapter for the Bologna quintet.

Established in 2015 with the EP Chronosphere and following the debut record Beyond the group has earned substantial momentum in the Italian scene, making a splash with their melodic guitar work, juxtaposed by a rivetingly heavy delivery and technical flair. Conquering positive feedbacks from top music magazines like Classic Rock, It Djents, Got-Djent and Metalitalia who ranked Beyond 'Hot Album' of 2016.

Carrying impressive accolades under their belt as Beyond which sold more than a thousand copies and over 100k streams on Spotify, Prospective has shared the stage with genre favourites such as The Algorithm, Exist Immortal, Uneven Structure, Betraying The Martyrs, Northlane, Oceans Ate Alaska, Hacktivist, Breath of Nibiru, Napoleon, Dreamshade.

Late 2017 saw the band teaming up again with Italian producer Federico Ascari and Matt Dalton (Born Of Osiris, Attila, I See Stars, Emmure) to start the works on their sophomore new album.

Prospective kicks off 2018 with the premiere of their heavy hit So Far Gone on Kerrang! Radio. Creating a great hype on the new release, the band releases "Only You" in February and "The Void" on the release day of "Unreal". The album made its debut at #4 of the iTunes Metal Chart, #13 Rock Chart and #78 Italy's Top 100. In support of the album release, the band announced their first couple of tours ever "The Unreal Italian Tour" and "The Unreal European Tour" selling out 1 show in Switzerland.

The first tour of 2019 sees the band coming back to Italy on "The Back Home Tour" that will lead them to headline major music clubs in Italy. In March the band announced that they have inked a deal with Long Branch Records/SPV. They will eventually take part on a new Tour including a show at the first-ever Euroblast and Long Branch Records Summer Fest in Cologne in Germany and finishing with an explosive performance at Dissonance Festival in Milan with Polaris and Bad Omens. To kick off the autumn season, Prospective releases the new single "Kill Me" and announces the new album "All We Have" due out January 17th, 2020. To celebrate the new release they embark on the "Kill Me European Tour" playing in 6 different countries. The band has got major attention to new music being featured on Spotify's editorial playlists New Metal Tracks, Got Djent? and Progressive Metal.
