Having joined the Anjunadeep ranks last year via the label’s Explorations EP series, Finland’s Tontario has gone on to deliver a string of well received releases, including a stunning rework of Ólafur Arnalds’s ‘Öldurót’, appearances on both Anjunadeep 08 and 09 compilations, not to mention his soothing ‘Solitude EP‘.

Ending the year strong, Tontario now returns to the label with another set of adventurous downtempo cuts on the four track ‘From Below EP’.

Inspired by the captivating yet vulnerable beauty of the Nordic nature, Tontario is a big fan of ambient soundscapes, crispy textures and wide range of foley sounds. Tontario’s emotional and ever so cinematic mix of house, techno and ambient takes you on a journey like no other.
