Hear it here, first! Each of the diverse and talented songwriter/songwriting teams who join Eleni Mandell’s Song Club will be given an initiation — write a song. But not any song, acting as a muse with a mission, Eleni will include a challenge for all in their songwriting, for example: “write a love song using only 2 chords and no rhymes.” All member of the Song Club will take the stage and publically perform their new compositions for the first time, in turn. With conversation about the process moderated by Alex Cohen. Time permitting, the Song Club will culminate with a songwriting lightning round session in the last 15 minutes.
