Marc Holt Music

Saskatoon based saxophonist, Marc Holt, is making a big impression on the Saskatoon music scene!

Marc moved to Saskatoon in 2008 to attend the University of Saskatchewan and in the spring of 2014, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Music. In Saskatoon Marc has played with a variety of groups including the U of S Jazz Ensemble and Wind Orchestra, the Bassment Big Band, Memory Lane: A Tribute to the 40's, 50's & 60's, and the Drew Tofin Big Band. In the studio, Marc has recorded with the U of S Jazz Ensemble, the Drew Tofin Big Band and Saskatoon band Between the Lines.

Currently Marc is freelancing as a performer and teaching at the Saskatoon Academy of Music. His main project right now is the Marc Holt Quintet. In January 2014, the Marc Holt Quintet released a 3 track EP entitled 'The Majestic Sessions.'
