This musical evening will be a celebration of Mamelodi`s rich musical heritage and expression and included in the State Theatre`s Mzansi Fela Festival, which is a celebration of local artistry and creativity. The State Theatre and the township of Mamelodi are both seen as iconic institutions in Tshwane and globally they have made a positive cultural influence in the arts. It will be a multimedia presentation of the township`s socio political and musical history that defined a unique culture and lifestyle and will culminate into a focus Malombo` heritage, influence and legacy.
