Hailing from Brooklyn, New York - Brian Patrick Migliore AKA Skitsnygg is the face of trash electro. Drawing heavy influence from 90’s and early 2000’s hardcore, punk, and metal, Skitsnygg delivers banger after banger of pure terror. With a perfected signature sound, Skitsnygg’s mammoth grinding basslines and killer melodies have distinguished him worldwide as a force to be reckoned with. Not even old enough to hit the bars, Skitsnygg began DJing in 2008 and quickly escalated himself to a notable entity in a thriving New York club scene. Frequently playing the best parties in the city, it wasn’t long before he began curating massive illegal after-hours warehouse events, sometimes in excess of 3,000 attendees every week. In addition to delivering epic parties Skitsnygg was also perfecting his production game behind closed doors, waiting for the right moment to unleash a new genre dubbed “grind-house.” That time was met after signing to electro duo Designer Drugs label - Sex Cult in 2010 and Skitsnygg hastefully proved his true worth. Consistently delivering massive original tunes and a plentiful selection of official remixes for notable names such as The Sounds, Dumme Jungs, and Designer Drugs themselves, things were looking extremely promising. Unfortunately, as all this success was stirring, a storm was brewing on the horizon. With the rise in dance music’s popularity and skyrocketing rent prices due to the rapid gentrification of New York City came a new age in which parties were less frequent, less fun, and incredibly worse. Possessing an immense dislike for anything “normal” and the American EDM movement, Skitsnygg stays true to the “no fucks given” attitude he exhibits. Fed up with the explosion of dance music in the mainstream and the damage it dealt his beloved underground party scene, it was time to go back to the roots. After packing all his belongings in storage, armed only with a laptop, some clothes, and a passport, Skitsnygg set off to conquer the globe. The next two years saw a deranged life of debauchery enough to drive anyone else to insanity. Annihilating pretty much every notable party in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, and Europe, Skitsnygg has left a trail of destruction from Bogotá to Tokyo, and shows no sign of slowing down. Transcribing feelings to music, Skitsnygg’s attitude shines bright in Die Slow, the first song off his forthcoming album “American Nightmare.” Heavy and harsh guitar riffs explode atop fierce drum patterns for an auditory experience that leaves you feeling like you’re front row at CBGB’s.
