Humality Biography
“Humality gives the heavy music listener exactly what they want to hear - Heavy grooves, abstract chaos with an underlining intensity that is on the path of destruction”.
Humality are a 4-piece groove/progressive metal band that formed in 2007. By aligning their collaborative creativity and having a firm dedication to the do-it-yourself work ethic, Humality have established themselves as a promising up and coming act with a unique signature sound. With a style that draws influences from the nu metal era and todays progressive genres, the band articulates the importance of individuality throughout their sound with elements of slap bass, obscure drumming, powerful guitars and an extensive vocal range.
For the most part of 2012/13 the band had spent their time in lock down, writing and recording their highly anticipated debut release. “No Where” is part one of a two part release, consisting of 5 tracks including the colossal single and music video “Amaurosis” Available view now at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=he5qe7IKvtk
After gaining recognition amongst some of Australia’s biggest modern rock and metal names including Northlane, Twelve Foot Ninja and Circles over recent years, 2014 will see the band touring extensively throughout Australia turning heads at every destination. Humality will also be releasing their Second E.P titled “Now Here” in the later months of the year.
