Cinful Biography

CINFUL was created to bring you a wide variety of music ranging from Pop, Pop Country, Modern Rock and Classic Rock all with a Cinful touch! We love to party with our awesome 'Cinners'! So come join us by clicking "LIKE" and become a "Cinner" today! Band Members Bios: CINDY AIKEN - LEAD VOCALS Born and raised in Des Plaines, IL Cindy loved to sing and music was a heavy influence in her early childhood. Her father (Big John) is a talented guitar and harmonica player that influenced Cindy in her voice development. In the 5th grade, her music teacher provided an opportunity to sing 'LaBoheme' with the Lyric Opera in Chicago that pushed her over the edge to continue with her vocal gift. With Cindy's musical roots, her teenage years found her listening to Journey, Sammy Hagar, and the Bee Gees. Her influences are Steve Perry, The Judd's, Melissa Etheridge, Martina McBride,Jennifer Nettles, and Sass Jordan to name a few. Cindy's powerful vocals and tremendous stage presence makes her an immediate hit with the audience. ART NUNEZ - GUITARS, VOCALS As the Guitarist for Cinful, Art’s tasteful style comes from over 3 decades of experience. He recorded with Jason "Gong" Jones formerly of Drowning Pool and substituted for players in several local "high profile" bands in the area. Playing with original bands Vertigo, Servitude and cover bands Roundhouse, New Jersey and recently Yourz Truly, Art has found what he’s been looking for in his musical versatility and collaboration with Cindy, Marshall and Bruce (original drummer and co-founder of Cinful). “I love music and the people it gets me close to. I am fortunate to have grown up in an era where the guitar was a powerful weapon.” Inspirations like Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, George Lynch, Paul Gilbert, John Petrucci, Eddie Van Halen, Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, and so many more, helped groom the sound we hear in Art’s guitar playing! Art is a high energy player that is guaranteed to make you feel like you are part of the show! MARSHALL MECKLEY - BASS, VOCALS Born in Gardnerville, Nevada Marshall picked up his first bass guitar at the age of 15 after being inspired by listening to the song Dr Love by KISS. Moving to the Midwest, ‘Marsh’ as he is affectionately called, has been in several bands such as Miracle Man, an Ozzie tribute band, Wild Child and is a founding member of Girls Night Out. Influenced by Pink Floyd and many other bands, Geddy Lee of Rush is his favorite musician. ‘Marsh’ has his pilot’s license, loves his riding his Harley, and is the Rock Solid bassist for Ciinful. What a perfect fit for someone from Nevada (you know, Gambling, 24 Hours, Legal Prostitution)…he’s definitely an original Cinner!! MIKE LONG - DRUMS, VOCALS Mike was born in Rockford, IL, the home town of Cheap Trick. As a matter of fact, Cheap Trick was Mike's first concert. His uncles were both musicians, and his earliest personal influences and supporters. One of his uncles gave him his first set of sticks and bongos when he was 12. Later in life, Mike learned his biological father was also a drummer, making Mike a second generation drummer. When Mike was 13, to stop him from beating on everything in the house with his sticks, His mom bought him his first orange sparkle drum set, which he eventually repainted a flat black. Once he had a set of real drums, Mike knew he'd found his life's passion. In high school Mike was in three school bands: Jazz, Marching and Symphony. During this time Rockford had a great music scene with several talented local bands, further inspiring him to pursue his dream. Other musical influences ran the gamut from John Bonham, KISS, and Motley Crüe, to outlaw country and various punk bands. Mike's band choices have been as varied as his influences. After leaving the Navy at age 22, Mike played with Pandemonium Carnival, writing and performing all original music. Next came Monin' Lisa an 80's style rock band; Smooties a punk band, and Hillbillee a country cover band that won the annual contest "Best on the Waterfront" for to local band two years running. Also with Hillbillee, Mike opened for country music sensation, Luke Bryant. Most recently Mike has played locally with Hairdaze an 80's rock band, and MGM Grand. Today, Mike is proud to be the newest drummer of Cinful. Having been nicknamed "Animal" Mike brings his dynamic stage presence as not just a drummer in the back, but a true performer who enjoys putting on a show. P!nk, Pat Benatar, Melissa Ethridge, to Sammy Hagar, Foreigner, Boston, Triumph, Journey and much much more!! Country, Pop, Modern rock, and Classic rock.
