About this concert
Darkside Daddy is part late ‘50s early ‘60s style Rock N Roll radio and part Creature Feature. The music runs the gambit of Rock-a-Billy, Doo-Wop, Garage, Pop, and Punk with clips of movie trailers and old radio shows in between. Sheverb is an all-Ladies, collectively run, psychedelic desert rock band based in Austin, TX. Out to challenge the masculine mythology of the romanticized old west, they blend the guitar twang of spaghetti westerns, the driving rhythms of krautrock and the confident swagger of blues.
