Gretta Ziller Biography

Gretta Ziller, an acclaimed Australian Americana artist with classical training and a diverse musical influence spanning rock, pop, blues, jazz, and classical genres, has earned two Golden Guitar nominations. While drawing inspiration from artists like Lucinda Williams, Rag’n’Bone Man, Alabama Shakes, Steve Earle, and Paul Kelly, Gretta defies comparison, carving her unique musical path.

For Gretta, music is not just a passion; it's a means of connection and creation. She finds joy in singing songs that have been part of her life, allowing them to resonate and become a meaningful part of others' lives.

In 2023, Gretta was honoured as the first recipient of the Country Music Association of Australia (CMAA) Academy of Music Scholarship. She spent valuable time in Nashville and showcased her talent at Americana Fest, coinciding with the release of her third album, "All These Walls."

As she steps into 2024, Gretta embarks on "The Long & Writing Road," a daring challenge of 52 co-writing sessions in 52 weeks. This year also marks a decade of Gretta's musical journey, a celebration of ten years dedicated to releasing music and leaving an indelible mark on the industry.
