Lauren Black is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. You will find her original music appearing in the recommended playlists alongside artists such as: James Bay, The Chain Smokers and Sam Hunt to name a few. She has the unique ability to capture both Country as well as mainstream Top 40 music lovers with her original crossover Folk/Pop genre that is unlike anything you have heard before.

You can catch her playing weekly residencies at exclusive coastal resorts such as La Casa Del Camino and The St. Regis Monarch Beach, Sky Loft, and various other popular Orange County venues. In addition to her 20+ gigs a month, Black frequently performs as an entertainment vendor for Fortune 500 Companies such as The Irvine Company, Context Summits, Emerald Expositions, and a number of trade shows including ASD, weddings, private events, and national corporate functions. She recently appeared as an on-screen featured artist for an episode of Bravo's Millionaire Listing which will air later this season.

In July of 2016, Lauren wrapped production on her 5 song EP
"One More Time With Feeling," which is set to be released September 13, 2016 under DNT Entertainment. Her first single off the Album “Scope” was named runner up in the 2016 NSAI songwriting competition hosted by CMT. Since then, she has launched an official Vevo channel with enhanced music video content for 3 of the 5 singles off her soon to be released EP.

Lauren's unique original tone, skilled songwriting ability, and captivating performance, have caught the attention of not only a loyal fan following, but a number of reality TV shows, A&R Executives, Multi-Platinum Producers, Investors, and Indie Record Labels. Her current co-production arrangement with DNT Entertainment, has allowed her to retain copyright ownership over her sound recordings, giving her creative control over her music just as any independent artist, but with the support of a dedicated artist development partner.
