Chapel Hill Country Band Biography
Chapel Hill was started by Lead Singer/Rhythm Guitarist Roy Barrett who used to live in Chapel Hill, Tennessee which is about 40 miles south of Nashville. As a singer most of his life, his dad and grandfather were also musicians and had a big influence on his life. When Roy's dad passed away from cancer, the band (who was still nameless at the time) became Chapel Hill as a tribute and remembrance to his father, Roy Sr.
