Gary Valenciano Official

Born on August 6, Edgardo Jose Martin Valenciano (a.k.a. Gary V) is the 6th in a family of 7. Father is Vicente Calacas Valenciano, a Filipino engineer, who studied in the University of the Philippines while mother Grimilda Santiago Ortiz, hails from Arecibo, Puerto Rico. He entered the entertainment industry in the Philippines in 1983 and went on to release over 28 music projects, most of which are multi-platinum status or multi-awarded. He also appeared in 14 films. He currently is the pillar of the television show "ASAP ROCKS" in the Philippines as one of the lead male hosts of the musical variety show.
