Lensmen: a four-piece featuring Dan Fisher (keyboards), Gavin McClafferty (bass), Jason Wilkinson (drums) and Alun Hughes (vocals). Lensmen are a group of audio alchemists with a visceral vision of the future rooted rock’s darker past. In frontman Alun Hughes, they boast a storyteller and slam poet whose twisted tales reflect the band’s shared life experiences offering a critique on living in a seemingly death phobic, youth-fixated age. Hidden Tide: is the performing alias of Bristol-based songwriter and musician Jane Parsons.
