Maassa

MAASSA is a rock band consisting of three friends who met in Maastricht, NL and started playing together in 2014, united by their passion for music. We write our own music in which you will find influences of alternative and Brit rock, post-punk, blues and funk. Surely we admire the work of others and you would hear a few covers in our gigs with the added spin of our raw energy and our fiery delivery on stage. The songs are uplifting, groovy and energetic. They make you want to jump, dance, smile and shout. The lyrics relate to social issues reminding you to look around and within yourself. Soaring guitars, pounding drums, tasty bass lines, multilayered vocals and catchy melodies – MAASSA will elevate you and leave you energised and happy.
