Matt studied Music Theory and Performance at Berklee College of Music, founded the Record Label American River Records, and refers to his political views as Revolutionary. I mention this because Matthias expressed to me that his political views are in part what is currently driving his passion in the music world, as he expresses his views in the way of an activist. With that being said, for the love of his bride Katie Franklin and for the love of people, he is not only politically motivated. For this intimate evening with Matthias, I’ll talk with him about the great musical influences in his life since before he landed on the West Coast.
