Molly Adele Brown Biography
Don’t be fooled by the infectious smile and fun-loving, quirky personality - AmeriaPop singer/songwriter Molly Adele Brown is a force to be reckoned with! There is steel behind those ice blue eyes and fire in her spirit. While she loves a good party, she is also passionate about social injustice - always looking out and fighting for the underdog.
Molly has a great sense of humor that comes through in her lyrics. Not one to take herself too seriously she writes about college escapades in one of her earlier songs “Chug,” while her upcoming single, “Sweeter World,” questions why all the alcohol brands are named after men! But, Molly holds nothing back while singing “In Time”, a heartbreaking ballad where she shares the intimate details of the sudden loss of her father in 2011 and more recently “Normal Now,” which talks about adjusting to her life now, the new normal without her dad.
Giving back is important to Molly and a big part of who she is as a person and a performer. She competed in the Bands4Good Competition where her song “Mr. Right” landed her the runner-up status in the “Fan Favorite” category. This competition helped raise money for charities while popularizing music from up-and-coming artists. She recently co-wrote and released “Me Too” in response to the current movement with fellow musicians Tim Angsten and Tim Baumgartner. All three of them performed the song live on Nashville Today. A supporter of Hope’s Door, a shelter for battered women, Molly performed “Me Too” at their 2018 annual gala. She has also performed at the Nashville Homeless Shelter and is an official advocate for the brand “Only Human”.
Currently based out of Nashville and writing new music, Molly recently charted at number 4 on the New Music Weekly Country Charts with her single “CHUG.” She was also a top ten finalist in the 2017 Nash Next Competition. Some highlights from the past year include performing at Nashville CMA Festival, Vamos Music Festival in Scotland, and Montauk Music Festival. She also participated in the 2017 and 2018 CRS (Country Radio Seminar) in Nashville.
