About this concert
UK Subs - There’s not many bands that have the respect of EVERYONE on the punk scene. But Charlie Harpers UK SUBS is that exception. Formed in 1976, the mainstay of the band has been vocalist Charlie Harper, originally a singer in Britain's R&B scene (now venerated as the godfather of UK punk) the band has continued and thrived. 2010 marked the fifth decade in which the U.K. Subs had continually graced the Punk Rock scene, widely recognised as one of the most consistently and visibly successful punk bands - they maintain and pioneer the true spirit of punk rock, without the compromise and watering-down that has affected so many of their contemporaries. CREATURE CREATURE UK Biography
Brighton's Creature Creature, an alt-rock/punk force, emerged with a fervor to shake up the music scene. Comprised of Scully (Daniel Scully, frontman), Zeus (Steve Cobley, guitar), Seb Cole (keyboard/backing vocals), Dave Cobley (bass), and Matt Hill (drums), they debuted with Two Finger Tantrum in 2020. Despite a pandemic-induced setback, they've shown remarkable resilience, channeling their energy into crafting their new upcoming EP, “The Noise” (recorded by Billy Lunn of The Subways and mixed by Tommy Gleeson of Feeder).
Renowned for a dynamic sound that draws from diverse influences like Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes to Royal Blood, their music is a rich tapestry of modern beats and old-school rock. Notably, Creature Creature's affinity for cinema both retro and contemporary permeates their work, with tracks like "Video Nasty" and “No Time To Die”. Lauded for their captivating live performances, they are poised for a resurgence, their narrative marked by perseverance, innovation, and a compelling fusion of music with undying resolve.
