Brenboy

Rising Portland artist Brenboy just released his latest single, “Dub Take Two”! The new track from Brenboy is a Rasta vibe with an H-Town flow. His bar-for-bar style is unparalleled in this lighthearted player's anthem. With production by JB Orion, the song is driven by a Blues guitar riff and accompanied by a rootsy 808 drum pattern.

The local music scene welcomed Brenboy's authentic styles, catchy hooks & powerful lyrics. He has since then been in heavy rotation on KBOO, and opened for Snow Tha Product and Andre Nickatina.

“It was really great to collaborate with someone from my hometown and make a summertime slap. JB and I were riding in the car with one of our childhood friends when we spontaneously called it Dub Take Two, even though there was only one take. We experimented with different mixes, but it was like trying to catch lightning in a bottle twice. It's probably not going to happen. You just got to be thankful you caught it the first time, and roll with it from there”
