The South has birth a major voice in the hip hop arena coming from the sounds of 5ive Ft Giant, born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Giant brings a unique blend of soulful, southern hip hop sound with an added street edge that both inspires and entertains its listeners.
5ive Ft began his career writing and rhyming as a kid in school, which led to his adult career as a fully established, local household named hip hop artist. He later caught the attention of the platinum rap music group, Bone Thugs and Harmony. The doors opened and the Giant went in and begin traveling, recording and performing with hip hop music greats, like E40, Outlawz, Tony Toni Tone, appeared on the reunification projects of female R&B groups,just to name a few. The sounds of 5ive can also be heard on numerous movie soundtracks from throughout the years. 5ive Ft Giant not only grasp the ears of fans through recording, but is also known to have a dynamic stage presence, which includes performing alongside rap moguls such as Yung Buck, Master P, MGK just to name a few.
5ive Ft stays focused on his love for the craft of music, wearing many hats in the industry. He is the owner of his own independent music label, Day 1 Music Group, where he manages and direct the careers of other up and coming artists. He also continues to give us those words and sounds that the true hip hop lovers tend to crave while soon to release his latest project, "Grown Man Season", which include many life changing and entertaining singles.
