About this concert
Parade of Horribles (San Diego, CA) http://paradeofhorribles.bandcamp.com Parade of Horribles is a two piece experimental sound disaster consisting of Chris Mazzola on drums and Jason York on bass guitar & vocals. Chris provides a solid foundation with a drumming style rooted in old school and hardcore punk. To this Jason overlays a flurry of different musical styles ranging from punk to funk, mixing in hints of folk, jazz fusion, classical, alternative and hard rock. The result is a sonically unique creation that both exhilarates and confuses. Chris and Jason organize two Punk Rock Food Drive events each year to benefit the local food banks. They have raised over 152,000 meals since their first show in 2009. Matt Salkeld (Bakersfield, CA) https://mattsalkeld.bandcamp.com/ Matt Salkeld is a solo, singer-songwriter, acoustic force of nature. He is is one of the most attractive people to ever play an acoustic guitar. He is unable to perform in Bakersfield any longer because his guitar cannot project loud enough to overpower the throngs of screaming fans. The same thing happened to The Beatles.
