About this concert
On September 28th 2018, Hounds will be taking over the Ace Hotel Pittsburgh with some of the most talented artists on the scene today. "The Year of The Dog" will transform the Ace Hotel into the gritty/industrial style that we are most known for. Hounds strives to make sure everyone's experience is top notch. An installation has been prepared to create the environment for the evening of fantastic performances. Acts include Artist Mars Jackson, Artist/Instrumentalist Benji., Artist Chris Allen (Washington D.C.), Artist HearIsMatt, and Producer/DJ PVKVSV. DJ Sets will be performed by DJ Bamboo and G.R. Zombie.

Mars Jackson Biography
Mars Jackson, Misra Records signee, is the first hip-hop act on the label in 18 years. Considered to be a breath of fresh air, his style is fun, exciting, and adventurous. Mars has performed at the Carnegie Museum of Art, and Pittsburgh’s very own Mr. Smalls Theatre, Club Cafe and Spirit Lodge. He has opened for acts such as The Internet, JMSN, Tiffany Gouché , St. Beauty, BJ The Chicago Kid , Big K.R.I.T. Matt and Kim, Dillon Francis and Lupe Fiasco. From a diverse Pittsburgh hip hop scene, Mars is a multifaceted artist who utilizes different influences to cultivate his inimitable style.
