Status Quo Support: The Weight 'Plugged In - Live & Rockin'' 4. Oktober 2018 Olympiaworld Innsbruck 1968 veröffentlichten sie ihre erste Single „Pictures Of Matchstick Men“, 2013 ihre unglaubliche 100. Single. STATUS QUO haben mit ihren Hits wie „Down, Down“, „In The Army Now“, „Roll Over Lay Down“, „Rain“, „Rocking All Over The World“, “Whatever You Want” oder „Caroline” insgesamt über siebeneinhalb Jahre (415 Wochen) in den britischen Charts verbracht. Nach dem Tod von Gründungsmitglied Rick Parfitt im Dezember 2016 wollte die Band eigentlich nur mehr die bereits angesetzten Shows spielen. Die Dynamik, die durch die zwei jungen Musiker Richie Mallone (Gitarrist) und Leon Cave (Schlagzeug) bei den Live-Konzerten entstand, brachte jedoch neuen Drive in die Gruppe und Francis Rossi zu der Entscheidung weiter auf Tour zu gehen – am 4.10.2018 live in Innsbruck!

What unites four musicians to revive a style of music which has encountered nothing but scorn and derision ever since trouser legs got tighter?
Indeed my dear friends of splendid taste: The love for legendary bands which ruled the world at a time when drums had to be hit hard. THE WEIGHT redefine driving bass lines, distorted guitar solos and screaming lead vocals so to say the most glorious and resplendent time in the history of rock music.
Adam & Eve expanded their consciousness with the forbidden fruit and THE WEIGHT expand yours with their passion for 60s and 70s rock music.
Heavy, groovy, bluesy, sexy and a bit nostalgic - THE WEIGHT guide their audience to landing fields of leaden zeppelins, the deepest purple or to the who’s who when it comes to throwing TV sets out of hotel room windows. With their own and self-written material, honest and devoted to a time when music was real, THE WEIGHT can`t be too heavy for you, can it?
